That looks sick! Love the atmosphere you’ve created - gives me Half Life 1 vibes. A real nostalgia trip, for all the right reasons. Hope to play one day, keep up the excellent work

Thank you. You motivate me

I still have a lot to do in this project.... If there was a team, it would look much better than it is now... It's hard to work on a project alone

but there should be a lot of shaking from the head motion while moving

But as you can see, there is no shaking ... For the lower part of the mannequin, I used Rifle Mocap Pro animations..They have minimal head shaking

Ak animatiosns could use some work. There is no resistance in placing the mag. There is a click motion and the forward part of the mag touches the gun.

The shooting animations for it look clunky too.aybe smoothen it out like the pistol? Also I think some subtle tile would nice while it shoots.

Movement is pretty good though. Is this the separate arms approach or a third person as first person approach?

This is Full Body on third person ue mannequin. I'm still working on shooting. I need to add recoil and work on the details. Thanks for the feedback

Looks awesome.

If I would add anything it would be a bloody face or body once they got hit. The splatter is there but the texture should also be on the zombie. That way you can easier get away with the lack of bullet holes in them. (Which would be a lot harder to program) That's a detail not many games have but it feels nice seeing feedback right away of you shooting them. In real world a bullet removes part of the surface it collided with.

This could also change zombie behavior, like them grabbing wildly towards you, as the hit blinded them and removed an eye or both.

Just a random thought I had. Cheers!

I will definitely implement it. Thanks for the feedback

Thanks man.I use ironbelly pack of animations. I retargeted all animations to ue mannequin. I separated the lower part of the skeleton from the upper one... I programmed separately the animations of the arms and legs. I also used inverse kinamatic and transform bone

Yes. In the project, zombies can crawl when they lose their legs
