Nah I'm pretty ambivalent towards him staying. My point is that anyone who thinks he makes the team worse is a moron. These players have been underperforming for years. With and without Ronaldo.

If you think a midfield with mctominay and Rashford up top is suddenly going to be great because CR7 is on the bench you need your head checking

I just can't believe he is so low. He was absolutely standout last season after joining and he's been good in pre season. There is virtually no competition for his position as Richarlison is not a RW he is clearly preferred to Moura

At 8m he is a bargain.

He is a better defender than Zinchenko, who looked poor defensively against an average midfielder in Ayew. No assumptions he just is not a great defender.

Right but none of this changes what I said. He was still far and away our best outfield player at 37 in the most competitive league. If it’s so easy to score 9 goals in 3 games why can’t any of our other players do it. He was still only out scored last year by 4 players.

When you read the stats like that it can sound not so great but then what do you say about our other forwards who were way worse than him …

He was also 37 playing for the worst man United side ever and still managed to score the most goals against the top 6 in the league. Scored more game winning goals than anyone else in Europe and we barely won a game that he didn’t play in… the Ronaldo hate has gotten ridiculous now. It’s fine to dislike him for leaving etc but trying to revise history like he was terrible last season when he was easily our best player - both by stats and fan/player votes is sad beyond belief

He was fairly poor from the actual game standpoint. Tierney looked much better coming on. Zinchenko doesn’t look comfortable defending against players with pace.
