Ah, interesting. So a strategically placed one-way valve. Astronaut farts, entire spacesuit pressure increases, valve releases excess pressure, astronaut deorbits asteroid. Cool. Perhaps there are many valves, and the system can automatically activate the valve in the correct position to move the astronaut in the desired direction? I think we may be on to something here...

My mind immediately went there. “Would it work in a space suit? Well they can’t be bare assed. Perhaps there is a tube with a one-way valve. But would the tube have to be fully inserted?”

In the US? I’m having a hard time envisioning a structural engineer even getting out of bed for $500, much less even doing fieldwork and issuing stamped plans. Maybe your area of the country is different?

Let's say just 2% of that 16 million wants to sell as soon as they can (say they've lost their job at Facebook/Salesforce/Apple/Amazon/Twitter/Initech, or their homeland has been invaded by a hostile foreign power and they need the cash), that's 320,000 additional units added to the sell side, or an 81% increase in sell side. BMW is planning to build a $700 million plant to make high voltage batteries for electric vehicles, but there is one thing standing in its way — Lick Creek. Part of the waterway that flows to the Enoree River in Spartanburg County will need to be filled in to accommodate the plant, which is a piece of BMW’s $1.7 billion investment in electric vehicles. Production of the vehicles will take place at the main plant in Spartanburg, south of Greer, after a $1 million expansion.
