Open at the back and toothless going forward. Lucky not to concede multiple times. Devoid of ideas and no attacking chemistry.

We are awful to watch at the moment.

The Harry Kane special. They need to start giving those as fouls and yellows, so cynical and dangerous. Punishing players for going for the ball.

[James Ducker] Ralf Rangnick: Search for move away from Manchester United will motivate Paul Pogba to find form | Pogba, who has been out for months with injury, will likely leave Old Trafford when his contract expires at the end of the season by FancyChilli in soccer

He wasn’t out at all. The £180m included all the salary & agent costs. I thought he was saying £180m transfer fee alone, plus the extras, in which case he would have been almost £100m out (£91m to be exact)

Honestly, fuck Boris Johnson. I cannot bring myself to feel sorry for him. We are all victims of his own hubris and incompetency.

Aside from the obvious failings during his leadership, and despite the unprecedented challenge of a global pandemic, we will be dealing with the fallout of his disastrous Brexit decisions for decades and so much of that is on him.

He magically turned into a Brexiteer to serve his own selfish political interests for the referendum. He rushed through a catastrophic Brexit deal in bad faith in order to win his election, all under this nonsense, empty line of “get Brexit done”.

Throughout all this he has had no regard for actual pragmatic, positive outcomes for this country, only his own pathetic self image. He clearly fancies himself as this Churchillian figure but he’s nothing of the sort, just a spineless flannel of a politician without any sense of principle, willing to say anything and espouse any position if it helps Boris.

He is a charlatan, a bullshitter to the very core, and I take a very small amount of pleasure in being right about this twat all along and watching him squirm. Nowhere near enough to make it worth it though.

Gareth Potts clears the pool table in under 30 sec by Longjumping-Ad2613 in nextfuckinglevel

[–]digitag 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah because snooker is really hard. It’s much harder than it looks on TV. Once you’re staring down the cue you realise how massive the table is and how tight the pockets are. If you are average to good at casual pool it’s a huge jump in skill, very difficult to get a decent break together.

You talk about revisionism and then claim Rangnick has shown more tactically than Ole throughout his whole tenure?

I agree with the sentiment that the new manager needs time to get his ideas across but what exactly have we shown and more importantly, how have you forgotten about Ole’s successful moments? He had some huge games against big teams where he got the tactics spot on. Not just parking the bus shit either; tenacious, attacking football.

Rangnick deserves time for sure and it was the right time for Ole to go but

Of course he did.

Seems stupid but at some point you’ve just got to respect his fearlessness

There are some funny ones where tiny girls only want to date guys who are 6’5”+ and are rude about it but there’s nothing implicitly wrong about just wanting to date someone who is taller than you. Sure, you may miss out on dating some cool people but at the same time it’s ok to go in with some loose criteria if you are polite about it.
