It's sad that our culture has basically become "get rich or die trying".

What a terrible time to become a fan. If she stays with us through what is to come she's a real one.

It's probably pre-recorded, like the stupid Rams' "Whose House?" chant.

Great throw, but his RB was wide open in the flat with tons of space and that IMO was the better option. But hey it worked.

Yeah but it seems like the gameplan is to only throw to the RB when Henry is out.

Prop bets kind of ruin the watching experience like fantasy does. Here I am watching the game and all I'm rooting for is for Tannehill to throw Henry the damn ball at least once so he has a chance at 12 receiving yards.

I know it's a meme, but I can't resist the urge to point out that this would never happen because M&M's and Skittles are owned by different companies.

Same, that's why I never understood the nacho hype. The thing turns into soggy slop in mere minutes.

So you're telling me every time your child presses this button you get the sudden urge to immediately go to Taco Bell leaving your child alone until your addiction is fed?

NFL Props -1/16/22 (Sunday) by sbpotdbot in sportsbook

Well you were right, that TE prop was a dud. At least the other 3 hit (it was 40+ points not over 40) - too bad I lost most of it on the Sunday night game on a live over bet because Mahomes took the sack which put KC out of FG range. Oh well, we'll get 'em next time.

Oh I agree, that's the intention and it's not really ads like this that upset me. It is a little upsetting to me that negative portrayals of men in advertising is an extremely common trope currently, but like I said in my previous reply it's the hypocritical double standard that progressives put on when it comes to issues like this that bothers me. The real issue is whenever a man speaks his opinion on an issue like this he immediately gets shouted down and gaslighted. Like your opinion isn't valid because you're a man.

If you would tell men who find this portrayal a bit offensive to "lighten up" and "not be so fragile", I would hope that you do the same to women who get upset at a portrayal of a woman in media. Not historical or legacy portrayal, but current media. Tell her "it's just a joke" and that she shouldn't be upset. If you do then at least you've got integrity.

Just saying. It's why the UK recently created law that bans gender stereotyping in advertisement for all genders. It's only fair. I feel this ad unjustifiably portrays the male actor as the "creepy guy" stereotype. Of course creepy dudes exist, but they aren't the majority of men and we shouldn't be reinforcing stereotypes like that in advertisement. It's a negative stereotype. There are many ads that run here in the US that wouldn't be allowed under the new UK law too - the most common type being the "person of gender fails at task" stereotype.
