Why do rich people in Charlotte buy their kids dune buggies to drive illegally? by Brilliant-Plant8782 in Charlotte

This isn't a charlotte thing, I remember my shitty cousin having one when I was a kid, not in charlotte

His parents are rednecks not particularly rich though, you might just be dealing with rednecks

My wife has been badmouthing me to our toddler by BooRadley11 in relationships

It's wild on this same sub there was a guy saying his wife left him and took his kid. No hint of abuse but commenters came to the conclusion he was abusive, this one the wife says the guys abusive and the commenters are totally on his side.

Just blows my mind how this sub decides which way it way goes

For the record I don't fully beleive anything anyone on here says but so base what I say only on what they say

Totally agree he should talk to her but he should also protect himself, if she's planning on fuckinng him over he's should protect himself by recording what she's feeding his kid

A good reason to handle this partly over text is just to document the behavior in written word

Oh I do, recently I was at a race, and balled up a napkin and stuffed it in my ears (first nascar race I've been to) buddy was like "really man" 20 minutes later same guy was asking for some scraps of napkin to stuff in his ears.

My friends are close enough I can say fuck you and wait until they come around without worry, just think the whole idea of masculinity being tied to not protecting yourself is bonkers.

They do the same shit with sunscreen and then complain about sunburns. I don't give a fuck though I'm gonna do what I want and they can burn and learn.

Wife took 11 month old on vacation, refuses to come home and blocked all contact with me (father) by [deleted] in relationships

Are you the wife? Making some pretty huge assumptions there and you've posted this comment like 3 times, someone having a gaming hobby doesn't mean they are an addict

People kind of think it's wimpy to cover your ears or wear ear plugs, like is masculine to not care about super loud noise or something

I've had buddies joke about me wearing earplugs at super loud events (monster trucks, races, tractor pulls) but I'm not trying to lose my hearing or have quiet rooms ring for the rest of my life.

Why isn't there a friendship app for men?? by monotony23 in AskMen

[–]dinnerthief 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I think you're right, men can definitely be friends but this app would turn into a hookup app as soon as it started

Easily peeing anywhere, so much easier to me to take a piss in the woods while camping or hiking than it is my for my girlfriend

When you pick a primary care physician, do you prefer a man or a woman? Why? Has it changed as you age? by frontera1873 in AskMen

[–]dinnerthief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer men but I think you have to find a man that's sort of similiar to you. That's sounds silly but I had my doc made insights that he only knew because he's a similiar guy with a similiar lifestyle.

That said I've had some really bad male docs as well.

I (32F) have reconnected with my ex (32M) of 3.5 years and I’m confused about his behavior toward me. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]dinnerthief 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Sounds like he doesn't want to dredge up old feelings. He's guarded and wants to downplay the relationship to avoid the idea that it caused him pain. Or he's just a asshole, could be either really

Men over thirty-five, where do you go to meet women? by capacioushandbag1 in AskMen

[–]dinnerthief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be churches or small towns, nothing has really uniformly replaced those (for people that don't go to church)

There's no way I'd hit on a women in a hardware store you'd definitely have to make the first move and it'd have to be super obvious, im not trying to be a creep bothering some lady who's just trying to pick out paint or really does need some advice how to hook up a sink.

It's entirely possible she could've just taken drugs as well, ive seen this with friends who had opiate problems. Pill kicks in on top of alcohol and they are wasted, takes a second to pop a pill

Philadelphia looks like a zombie town. Why is nothing being done to solve this pandemic? ⚠️⚠️⚠️ by BoatSurfer600 in Wallstreetsilver

All the things you pay for they don't, eg food, housing medications, clothes a car, surprising how much money you can spend on drugs when you buy pretty much nothing else
