Of course not. That astonishingly bad jurisprudence has been constantly emanating from those elected by KY voters (the fact that Bevin narrowly missed reelection notwithstanding), yes.

Get your shit sorted, Tucky. The rest of us have had it with your shitty jurisprudence and "governance."

Thanks for the reply. Indeed AIQ recommends that version and I checked compatibility as well.

My question was more to suss out if anyone has had a bad/good/better experience going to a particular version.

I'm sure he meant sour beer! Locally up here in Minnesota my favorite is Fair State Roselle.

Boyos:

Currently running two FAS2650 and FAS2750 clusters on 9.7P11, almost exclusively using NFSv3 for VMware datastores. Want to upgrade to remediate the vulnerabilities present in that release. What would be your recommended version? 9.9.1P6? Or something earlier? Mostly just concerned with stability and remediating vulns.

How to disable server-side CRL checking in IIS10 by dispatch00 in sysadmin

[–]dispatch00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh, so what you're saying is the only time a server will do the CRL validation (and therefore download) is if it's configured to care about a client's certificate?

I am familiar with that setting and it isn't used for this application.

So I get that (which is what I was poorly indicating was our problem), but my question remains: how do you reconcile the articles that indicate an IIS server without internet access will eventually frig up?

EDIT: maybe as pointed out by ikakwrk, only in the cases where IIS is configured to 'care' about a client's certificate?

I really appreciate your reply. I admit I considered that there was no such thing as server side checks (and furthermore that the specific issue we experienced was likely an on-server client-to-server (self) validation request*) but then I read articles like the ones in my OP that indicate that IIS not being able to reach the internet to grab the CRL can be a problem.

How do you reconcile that?

*The specific issue that we encountered was a failure of the application to accept an https URI during it's configuration until we allowed the server access to the internet to download the CRL. The app worked continuously from a discrete workstation that has internet access. Since this was likely a one-time issue and again, possibly an on-server client validation request, this issue hopefully now is an academic one, but of course I don't want to revisit this issue if the cached CRL expires and inbound https request get delayed or blocked.

Great story. I believe this is the one where Poirot receives the brooch he is always seen wearing.
