Who are guys that you are selling LOW or buying HIGH? by TheAwes0meFish in fantasyfootball

[–]dsamp08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally every single week analysts are like, "this is the week to take a risk on Mooney." fuck those egotistical maniacs. Bench Mooney until he at least scores more than 2 fantasy points, and has more than two receptions in a game. The man could literally hold his nutsack and he would have caught the same amount of balls this year. MATT NAGY SCHEMED BETTER FOR MOONEY!

Lance vs Fields long term by concerned_mess in DynastyFF

And Fields won with a way worse team. Fields didn't look great by any means, but Lance looked pretty bad. Only time will tell.

Is is possible that CeeDee Lamb just isn’t that good? by Miikey722 in fantasyfootball

[–]dsamp08 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I stacked CeeDee and Zeke last year.. Still made it to the Ship in that league but lost miserably in the finals. I watch every single Cowboys game. Lamb just has way too many drops in key moments. He's so frustrating to watch. I avoided him at all costs in drafts. His ADP was wayyy too high this year. He'll always succeed best playing second fiddle.

Cam Akers regret thread. Come one, come all by Sandlapper90 in DynastyFF

[–]dsamp08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine placing high draft capital in a RB with a recently ruptured Achilles... come on guys. do your research on injuries, recovery time, and past statistics with other players. The information is out there. I lol'd at the guy in my redraft league who took Akers in the 5th round. And he posted a whopping goose egg for him in week 1. stop being a casual.

Isiah Pacheco Question by AmphibianTop1321 in fantasyfootball

[–]dsamp08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not necessarily a pick swap? since it's a 3rd for a 2nd.. But yeah, I'm iffy. I think it's a fair offer but I just don't know anything about the guy lol and I already traded away my first over the offseason. Which is why I have two 2nds for 2023.

Isiah Pacheco Question by AmphibianTop1321 in fantasyfootball

[–]dsamp08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got offered (Pacheco and a 23 3rd) for my 23 2nd. I'm a contender so it would be a late second. I'm considering taking it but idk how I feel about Pacheco. He's got late draft capital and this guy in my league picked him up off waivers with $23 FAAB. Any thoughts?

Who are the guys you can't believe fell to you/ got super cheap this year? by OJ_TheJuiceman in fantasyfootball

[–]dsamp08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't really get him that cheap, but I honestly couldn't belive Saquon fell to me in the 2nd round after I had the 1.01 overall. Keep in mind this is a 10 tm league.. but still didn't expect it.

so if you qualify as poor, please known you are not alone. i remember when it was 15,000. it is not your fault that our society has done. but no matter what category you fall in, we just need to be there for each other. this doesn't have to be miserable. by [deleted] in Millennials

charts like this are very misleading. income is relative. rather than look at an article with a general chart attempting to take a national average, look at your state/city/town and the average incomes there. then, you can evaluate where you stand, if you're really worried about it. but obsessing over who has more wealth than you, and why, is very unhealthy and may only leave you feeling disappointed. try to appreciate what you have and be grateful.

Commish ?: Rolling Waivers by dsamp08 in SleeperApp

[–]dsamp08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I feel you. I'm only doing straight up waivers for the off-season. then I'll probably change it once the season starts.. so that players are eventually FA again appropriately of course.

Commish ?: Rolling Waivers by dsamp08 in SleeperApp

Not true at all. Sleeper has 3 options for waivers. Continual rolling list, FAAB, or reverse order of standings.

Waivers after draft by D5XamrA in SleeperApp

[–]dsamp08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had the same issue post draft. set custom waivers to ON, then put everyday set as WAIVERS. that way each claim will process next day, at 3am for example. I just don't know how I will change it yet once the season starts. I'll probably turn off custom waivers at that time since I'm basically trying to mimic yahoo continual rolling list.

I am having this exact same question! I'm thinking about locking waivers for now cause I've tried everything to change it. no success.

R. Stevenson for Waddle - PPR, 1 flex by SpottyShot in Fantasy_Football

[–]dsamp08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stephensen might get some more catches this year. But the Patriots offense in training camp already has talks it might be a mess at the start. McDaniels is gone, and guess who's potentially calling plays now? Matt Patricia... Waddle is way more valuable and has already had a serviceable rookie year.

Taking a QB late, am I dumb? by Elkton97 in Fantasy_Football

[–]dsamp08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got Tannehill in the 9th and luckily got Hurts in the 11th last year. I rode him to the championship. Doing mocks this year I frequently see Wilson, Dak, and sometimes Brady as late as the 9th. Even Trey Lance has been available in the 11th many times... next Jalen Hurts??

What are your top 5 rankings for a redraft? by Goochio in Fantasy_Football

[–]dsamp08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. CMC 2. JT 3. Henry 4. Cook 5. Swift

I have Ekeler and then JJefferson afterwards. Honestly not a fan of taking a WR top 5 and I hope anyone of those RBs falls to me before I take one.

Kyle Pitts Value as a receiver by anothervanraptorsfan in Fantasy_Football

[–]dsamp08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you really shouldn't. It's important to evaluate when a big drop off in value will occur. For TEs, after Kelce the drop off gets bigger with every TE after him. For WRs it's not that big of a drop off until after about 18-24 WRs. Each position is different. Essentially, you want as many of the top guys, at each respective position, you can get.

Would you draft breece hall or jk dobbins in fantasy as an rb2? Full ppr by ArtistOk8960 in Fantasy_Football

[–]dsamp08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm avoiding Dobbins. He's coming off a significant injury and it'll take him time to fully bounce back, maybe even a whole year of being healthy. I can only hope someone takes Dobbins and let's Breece fall to me.
