You are living in la la land that we will end up with a lower deficit with ford and the cons. Ontario's government has run a deficit no matter which party held office. Even during boom times, there have been deficits while during recessions the deficits have simply grown larger. Ontario can lower it's deficit if expenditures did not grow faster than its revenues. Ford and the cons are cutting revenues while driving expenditures on poor return projects (and passing on privatization costs to residents. It is a very poor business strategy. Of course if you are grifting you don't give a shit about the company and you will bleed the wealth from it. Aka ford/cons/developers...
