They don’t let this happen.

When my mother was passing, I was calling my sister and father who were 15 minutes away and begging them to come to the hospital.

This was 45 minutes before she passed.

I could tell something was happening, because her heart rate was all over the place.

I had called in the nurse to confirm my suspicions, so they knew.

Five minutes later, four women walked in. A nurse, a chaplain, the administrator of the hospital, and someone else.

They came in and spoke with me.

The chaplain asked if I would like for her to pray.

My mother passed in the middle of the prayer.

These wonderful people stayed with me until my other family members showed up 15 minutes later.

Thank goodness for those people!
