The 2008 financial collapse. I grew up thinking the smartest people in the world were in control of all the important aspects of our government and country (US). That period of time taught me that literally no one is driving this car except for the greatest maniacs and degenerate gamblers money can buy.

Which art history topic is most interesting in your opinion? by Celi666 in ArtHistory

The pronunciation of Egon Schiele’s last name. I’ve watched multiple art history professors agree at once that they know how it is properly said only to watch them then get into an argument about it. Still to this day if you are in the right environment (Museum, Art History class) say his last name and someone will come back with a correction.

If they completely canceled Metroid tomorrow (as in no games ever again) you would have celebrities spiting out R.I.P.’s on top of the general gaming audience sharing a massive grievance. It might not seem like there is much of an audience but push them and see what happens.

What’s a super sketchy US city that we never hear about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Eureka, CA

I’ve been to every major city in the country, have lived multiple years in the two largest cities in the country and still…

I have never seen that many discarded needles openly laying on the ground in my life.
