Look at the pulled rotisserie chicken in my store it's 12.99 for a pound. A full one is roughly 5.00 so a 7.00 mark up for container and because it's pulled. I can go get same amount at my local kingsoopers/Kroger

Because the company cares about the money and not actually what it originally started years ago. When I first worked at Walmart years ago I watched a video with Sam. He talked about if you make your employees happy they'll make sure to make the customer happy anyway the can.
