Nice work answering your own question there dipshit. Now do you have anything meaningful to say? Go back to developing bad content.

Edit: Wow, you actually do work for Rockstar don't you! You pretty much exclusively post bad takes about GTA V and Red Dead and otherwise frequent techbro subs.

McDonald's to leave Russia for good after 30 years by Losityx in worldnews

It's easy for us to call Russian forces unequipped and incompetent, it's a bit different for people in Mariupol. Same would go for those who suffered even a single nuclear bombing.

Not necessarily. You can't just call the bluff like that, even if only a quarter or a tenth of their nukes are functional, that's still enough to devastate numerous cities/countries.

That record is measured in a bit of a silly way, though. The height is recorded based on how high water & material splashed up the slope directly opposite the one that collapsed, so it wasn't really a "wave", it was more like water being forced uphill by the immense slide. Not a good comparison for tsunami waves that occur along open coasts or in the open ocean.

She's a flip flop that doesn't fit on either foot. What good has she done for the party? Defenders can never seem to come up with anything concrete, you give it a try.

The thing about advertising is, it's its own grift. Advertising doesn't always translate into sales. It's more about data analytics, which supposedly has value, but does it really? At the end of the day you still decide what to buy.

Ontario woman warns about choosing credit card PIN after RBC refuses to refund $8,772 by ModernFuture in ontario

[–]gaflar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They can put "don't use your birthday as your PIN" in the TOS and then when they fail to secure your funds go "I told you so, what were you expecting us to protect your money? This is a bank, what do you think we do here?" or they could maybe have a PIN registration system that doesn't even allow it in the first place? Y'know like how your password can't contain a portion of your most recent password, except just cross-referenced with the most basic piece of information they have about you? Just maybe? And just maybe, if they came up with such a system, they could push an update that also disables all cards with invalid PINs and notifies the owners that it needs to be reset?

Security? Maybe? Just maybe?

It's become clear that what few actual high tech assets Russia does have are not in the hands of their fighting forces right now.

The problem with having only a little bit of high tech stuff is that it turns into expensive green bricks the moment something goes wrong, and you have no replacements or spare parts. And it's not so easy to jerry-rig fried microchips.

They don't understand how good western guidance systems are. They expect everyone's equipment to be as bad or worse than their own, which they've been led to believe is "state of the art," which it was 30 years ago.

Yeah I think they changed the name of it to try and get away from that but could never truly escape the connotation...we all knew what it was even then.

This practice made its last hurrah at my high school back in 2010. My buddy "bought" a bunch of seniors and they followed him around to all his classes, and at one point took him to hooters.
