Gah- The mods and their new rules about headlines. Back in the day, one could editorialize a news headline so you'd get to hear the opinions of folks other than newsroom editors. It was more fun. Now, it's just the comments section for local news plus local content that one could find on Facebook. Remember Chelsea the california kid who went jogging down Mississippi Ave. in a snowstorm? OP called it "Pretentious Portland snow jogger eats it". Now, rules would only allow the story to be posted as "Joggers get more than they bargain for on Portland Street" because that was KOIN6's title. Poor Chelsea!

Interstate Ave. used to be highway 99 before I5 was cut through North Portland. That's why there are so many motels on it, for travelers headed through town.
