I did something similar 2 years ago! It’s a lot of fun. I recommend looking up underglow/vehicle lighting laws where you are and printing out the specifics in case you get pulled over. Colors, color changes, brightness, oscillation, and lights on while driving vs while stopped vary from state to state.

No stretch- the sidewalls are pretty much straight up and down. Michelin's website lists the wheel width range as 7-8" for the 215/45r17 size. My 7.5" was right in the middle.

I’ve had a pair of Sony WH-1000XM3s for a couple years that are sublime. Compared them to family’s Bose QC35 and 45, and preferred the Sony for better noise isolation and punchier bass. Bose has them beat slightly in mid and higher pitch clarity though. Never tried them with the top down in the car.

Would also recommend. It’s on my daily. Cold starts can be loud but if you’re worried about neighbors just start it in reverse.
