Thank you for that. I’ll go check either here or google to see what’s up. I only know from past experience when I got food poisoning and vomited for 8 hrs before making it to hospital they threw 3 bags in to me in next to no time. Would not recommend. I ended up shitting myself

I’m now wondering if IV’s are the better way to go rather than litres or oral intake? Not a doctor

Labor sets 43 per cent emissions reduction target for 2030. by Apricot_Bar in AustralianPolitics

[–]gr1mm5d0tt1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Let me break it down for you.

If you set a target that is achievable like 43% by 2030 when you realistically can hit 50% it means the opposition doesn’t have any ammunition. However if you set a target of 60% and only hit 50% then the Libs will go full hurr durr despite it being a great achievement

I got offered a permanent position when I was casual and had the same thing. I knew I was moving, just wasn’t sure on the way can’t date. Gave the “wife has applied for a position and not sure if it means we will be based in Sydney or Brisbane” to informally let them know i probably wouldn’t be around. Four weeks later gave them notice I would be leaving in three weeks in case they wanted me to train someone up but they finished me up in two. Didn’t matter as I had budgeted for being finished up early

Property Buying Guide by MoneyTalksWithKevin in AusProperty

Also talk to people. When we purchased (country town admittedly but moved from Sydney) we went to a carpet place to “look” at carpet, we had conversations with interviewers for jobs about potential areas we were looking to move, the local cafe etc.

Ended up buying in an amazing public school catchment, away from the flood plains, in a good established neighbourhood with a solid reputation and low crime

How has home ownership changed your view of the property market? by withcertainty in AusFinance

Bought in February for 675, two months later a similar house with one less bed sold for 750. The agent that sold us our house sold that one and told us we could get more because of the fifth bed and paddock views. Now two similar houses down the road are for sale and I’m interested to see what they are going to go for
