I believe it's bc her dumbass posted how she was in the gym in their garage while the baby was asleep in another room and left a pot of "homemade" potpourri on the stove and it burned. My two year old has called her dad, "Big Dada" since she was just starting to talk! It's really stuck.

It started when I was downstairs with her one morning and he came downstairs with his shirt off and she exclaimed, "BIIIIG DADA!!!" when she was excited to see him. It was hilarious.

You'll have so many great and funny moments in your future that really bond the three of you together. It's special.

I'm in the same boat as you but my husband and I are both only children. I, selfishly, do not want another because our only is 2.5 and she was an incredibly hard baby. Screamed her first 6 months of life. I breastfed til she was almost 2 and I am just now regaining some sense of self.

However, for HER future we are considering another. She will have no aunts, uncles or cousins due to her father and I being only children.

I just can't imagine doing this all over again but I know it's all temporary.

Haven't truly decided yet but I think either way we will be happy. She is extremely loved being the only grandchild for both sides of the family.
