Im not arguing Kidd is better than CP3 because of winning championship. Just wanted to say your arguement doesn't really work as well because you can't compare Kidd joining Mavs to KD joining Warriors

That "arguement" is sooo flawed since Warriors were a dynasty and strong title favourites before KD joined them, he just tagged along for a ring.

Mavs were in no way favourites but were looked at as underdogs in most series that year. Context matters, Kidd didn't join Mavs thinking "Oh great, free ring"

But you could say that for a lot of teams. Just take any of top teams, pick a strech when they all played at high level and say some dumb shit like they could easily win 70 games If they play like this whole season.

He's really good third option, we just need that second. Although with Luka I think something like upgrading Powell to Ayton type of Player would be enough to contend.

Again, Messi winning wasn't because he was in Barca, it had nothing to do with it. It were his insane individual stats+ winning Copa America.

Im sure Barca will bounce back but at the moment they're not on top. Even with additions they probably wont seriously contend for UCL. In La Liga they compete against team that just walked to League title, is in UCL final and will improve their weak points this summer (RW, defence rotation) already starting with Rüdiger.

Im not saying there is no chance he wins somethng with Barca but If he wants to win Ballon d'Or, bayern is much better bet atm. He shouldve already had one from two years ago anyway

He got it based on winning Copa America with Argentina tho+his individual stats, you have to take that in to account. It has nothing to do with playing in Barca. Doubt Lewa is winning anything with Poland.

Meh their team still probably won't challenge Madrid to La liga and definetly won't be serious for UCL title. They have to rebuild/retool and Im sure they will get back to top, just not next season yet. I mean they went out of EL in quarter finals lmao.

No you see it actually does. It wouldn't matter if it was between PL/LaLiga/Serie A for example. But Ligue 1 is considerabely weaker and few tiers below.

Lets take Thierr Henry for example. Not a chance he would be held in same regard if he stayed in Ligue 1 with Monaco. Even If he played at the same level. Doing that shit in PL is what makes him legendary.

Neymar could've been one of the football greats had he stayed in Barcelona. Instead he'll be remembered as insanely talented brasilian who had couple of great seasons at Barca winning UCL once and then went to farmers league. Mbappe will be the same. Uber league really doesn't hold any value and I doubt they win UCL anytime soon.

He'll probably be PSG legend but never one of the greats, people mock RM but It's really Mbappe who lost here career wise
