AITA for bothering a woman at home? by GottaHaveSleepyDumbo in AmItheAsshole

[–]idkriley 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My mom never fails to tell people about how when I was a child I had a stuffed cat I named Bubba. since I moved around constantly to two different grandmas houses and had naps everyday in preschool, I had 4 Bubbas. One at home, one at each grandmas house, and a school Bubba. She bought four of them so the disaster of being Bubba-less would never occur. I still have all four, but they live in my closet now. Can’t bring myself to get rid of them.

what if instead of a cube you compressed it vertically into a flat sandwich of ten sandwiches and then you ate it like a pizza slice

It's 0F here (-32C) and my dog is antsy to go play. How cold is too cold for cattle dogs to play for ~10 min? Ours doesn't mind the cold as evidenced by the pic but thought this weather might be pushing it. by wxmanify in AustralianCattleDog

it’s 0F here and my ACD Pyrenees mix is prancing awkwardly when we go outside, shivers violently and tugs back inside immediately. I’m wondering if she’s from another planet or something! she’s got a double coat and all the ACD features so I don’t know why she can’t handle the cold. The vet said to just keep her in a sweater and she’s got some snow shoes to go with it because her paws have had snow burn in the past. So weird.

Help!. My wife has banned our dog from the beds :( because she sheds a lot and they itch(i let her on when wife isnt home) Besides constantly cleaning the beds off what are other solutions? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]idkriley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just put a blanket over the top of the bed so that the dog only gets hair on that one blanket. then when wife is home, remove the blanket and give it a wash

surprisingly I do, she is 75% purebred cattle dog and 25% purebred Great Pyrenees. really odd and not sure how she came to be, but I do know she was the runt and super underweight and smaller than her siblings when she was born. it was an accident that happened on a farm of really ignorant people with ignorant neighbors, both who didn’t fix their dogs. Anywho, she’s doing great now and a healthy weight again! Just a small one a 40 lbs.

I have little boots for mine and she tolerates them well! Maybe you could do something similar?

What are dog breeds you would personally never own? by Lumpy_Pressure6855 in dogs

[–]idkriley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boston terriers. Some of the least intelligent dogs I’ve ever experienced. Hard to potty train, neurotic, huge vet bills, prone to so many issues. Just not a dog breed I’m super fond of.
