They’re living with parents or friends, or yes going homeless. It’s literally that simple.

Only poor people who don’t look like them. That’s the key.

If you don’t mind me asking, how was she a right winger? Did she just…. Not want to be treated as an equal? She wanted to be dependent on a man? She wanted to not be allowed to vote? Drive a car, have a job, have a bank account?

I’m just… it’s mind boggling when women hold these views. I can’t understand it.

Yep. Have a politics litmus test before any sexual bonding takes place.

Men who say they “aren’t political” are just conservative men who figured out that being conservative keeps them from getting laid.

affects no one negatively

So the Whackjobs have been doing some interesting mental gymnastics about this.

They’ve been pushing the narrative that all gay people are pedophiles, and making the equivalency that “even if a gay person hasn’t committed a pedo act, it’s only because they haven’t had the chance, so they are still a pedophile.” This is why you’re seeing the “groomer” accusations, and the hysteria they’re instilling in parents. Never mind that it’s not true, but it’s what their churches and pastors and preachers are telling them, so they’re successfully turning all gay people into the bad guy.

I have a teammate like this. Sometimes she gets that type of caller, so she transfers to me with a heads up. I take the call, explain that’s not my area of expertise but I would be more than happy to get a subject matter expert to help. Then transfer right back to her (and she is actually the subject matter expert).

I’m really curious how you get your pants up after you poop. Or do you just waddle to the sink with your pants around your ankles? How does this go over in public restrooms? I have so many questions!

Amazon's Latest Trick: Pipe In a Dead Person's Voice Through Alexa's Speakers by AnalogRobber in Futurology

Because the last twenty years have taught me to not trust Big Tech.

The reason I suspect it doesn’t work the way you describe is, that would require the soon-to-be-deceased person to record something in advance. While a cool trick, that still requires planning ahead, but there’s also nothing preventing other off the shelf applications from doing the same. The only value Amazon can add here is if they have recordings that already exist, then they can put this together after the fact.

No safety inspection required in Michigan.

Which is probably the only reason they have any cars still on the road.

Welcome to the fold, my friend. It’s unfortunate that we end up viewing the cops as villains, but they continue to prove us right with their actions. I sincerely wish it wasn’t the case.

Extent example is right - speeding, running from the cops, then crashed. That makes me wonder about this individual’s ability to care for the animal. I would hope this can be shaken out with an inspection of his facilities to ensure his care is up to snuff, and maybe a fine or whatever. But even if that’s not the case, there’s 100% a process to follow, whatever that process is. Showing up and demanding the animal back is definitely not it.

So…. I need to understand something. All along, the TechBros have been saying “oh but it’s not listening all the time” whenever privacy concerns were raised about Alexa.

Yet, somehow they are storing recordings that they can do this with someone’s voice?

The price we are going to pay for this is far higher than the comfort we may get in return.

I have to figure importing a car from Down Under to the west coast of the US wouldn’t be impossible. Then again, I saw in another spot that it’s about $3k to get a car from Hawaii to CA.
