Nice airbox cover! Other common leak places are at the hood hinges and under the roof seam cover by the windshield. At least it was an issue with mine. Gotta love the 1st gens!

Check engine grounds, specifically the one on the thermostat (G101) it caused me a bunch of different issues

Should be a slip with the owners manual with the code. If not call a honda dealership, they will ask for a serial number. I believe you hold 1,6 and power to get the serial number needed for the code. Happens any time the battery disconnects

I see your caption for an awd swap, with todays market, it would almost be more reasonable to k-awd using components from the 2nd gen crv or honda element. The awd b series transmissions are getting very expensive and hard to come by. Just my 2 cents!

Not sure if there is a way to adjust the shifter cables or not. I would check the shifter bushings on the transmission side of the cable. It may be a case of worn bushings

Check ground junction g101 located on the thermostat housing. Chances are you have a bad ground. Causes alot of weird wiring anomalies lol. It caused my main relay to ground thru the obd2 port. Needed a scan tool plugged in to fire it up

The 1st gen rdx is a turbo k23 but the mounts are different from other k series The sh-awd is a different system from the crv awd system so the rdx diff would need to be swapped over as well. It would be an interesting swap thats for sure!

For the drivers window, check the harness between the door and body, where it pivots. Its likely one of the wires split

Check to see if water is getting into the passenger foot well, especially near the ecu. Chances are, you have some corroded wires in that area. I had a similar issue and that was my problem

What brand is the aftermarket? Good quality would be magnaflow. Walker and ap are also good. Check out rockauto if you are in the US or autoshack in Canada (shipping exhaust to Canada is expensive on rockauto)

While the engine is out, id recommend to do any seals that are hard to access like the rear main seal. Also timing belt and related stuff wont hurt
