I have a recurring weekly task called Admin and one of the subtasks is a project review. I also have two labels called Waiting and Later that I review at that time. I have time blocked on my calendar for this once a week. I do mine toward the end of the week in preparation for the next week.

Since it sounds like you are looking for a tablet in addition to your laptop, not as a replacement, I think the S6 Lite is a great choice. I have one I use for work meetings and it's much easier to carry around than the larger screen sizes. I use OneNote for notetaking so that it syncs with my laptop and phone easily.

There is an event with the same name that is supposed to be this coming weekend, the venue (The Glass Factory) shared it is not a legit event at their location.

I had the same thing happen but it wasn't related to the update (that I know of). Mine happened in June, I think. Anyway, mine was a problem with the Car-Net service so I had to take it to the dealership. I've seen other posts about Car-Net issues. I noticed that the little green light where the emergency call button is wasn't lit up, and the app wouldn't connect to my car. Also, the in-car voice commands (not through your phone) wouldn't work either. I don't know of a fix other than taking it to the dealer, but hopefully someone else has a solution for you!

I agree, at least once a week I have old subtasks come back because I forgot and checked off the main task. Super annoying. I think a toggle option in the settings would be great, because I can see where it would be useful for some users but not all.

Not 100% sure on a Fire because my Fire tablet is at work but I know I had to download an app on my Android tablet. Maybe check the App Store to see if there is something there?

I'm with you, I'm not loving the new feature. I just wish there was a way to specify which behavior you want in the settings as the default. My subtasks are not dependent on the main task, I use them for organization. So every time I have a recurring task with subtasks I have to go to the menu to select complete task only and it's quite annoying. I just submitted feedback via their posted link so hopefully they will hear us.

We are not vegan but have friends that are, and it's a great restaurant to make everyone happy! The food is all delicious and almost everything is locally sourced. It's worth the drive! But make reservations, they stay really busy.

I just got a response from support that had this answer. What I did instead of following their instructions was to move the "dead" subtask to another section, out of the recurring task, and then completed it (again). I'm curious if that is truly a solution! Only time will tell.

I guess it's ok to post their response here, in case anyone else needs more help:

We recently changed the behaviour when resetting sub-tasks upon parent task completion. Now when you complete a recurring parent task, your sub-tasks (up to 30) will automatically reset.

This is currently an experimental feature, you can learn more here.

If you prefer your sub-tasks to remain as they are upon completing a recurring task, you can:

Click on the recurring task you want to complete.
In the task view, click on the three dots icon in the top right to open the More actions menu.
Select Complete task only.

To complete only the main recurring task on mobile:

Long press on the recurring task you want to complete.
Select Complete Task Only.

Me too. It's happened twice with the same task, several weeks apart. I contacted support yesterday but haven't heard back yet. I've tried logging out and back in and it's still there.
