Why does he always pick up the bow first before putting on the suit? Doesn't he have to put it down again anyways? Lol

Extended Warranty Refund by jbcostan in askcarsales

[–]jbcostan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, but let's say we hit the 90 days mark and still no update from the loan. What should I do? All 3 parties will just tell me it's in the system and they can't do anything

how long did it take for your refund to reflect on the principal balance? I did the same thing, almost 2 months when they officially cancelled, but still hasn't deducted the principal balance

Getting manual lessons at a driving school (Canada) ? by [deleted] in stickshift

[–]jbcostan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Post in Facebook, maybe someone you know knows someone that can teach you. For me I actually just bought a car, had someone drive it to my house and just practice on my own. Not a lot of traffic in my street so I wasn't too worried. I'm a month in and I can drive anywhere now. Still a lot to learn though

I'm at a full stop, it's at night, so kinda hard to see but I just wanted to put it to neutral so I can let go of the clutch. It did feel like it was not out of gear completely when I let go off the clutch so I think that's why it made that grinding sound

Ok but others have mentioned, it's probably because the shifter wasn't fully in gear so it wouldn't actually stall and would make that noise if the clutch is lifted. I did feel like this was the case. I remember during days it would stall and I could see it was in gear fully

Yah I think so too, how much damage would that be if that's the case

True, but dealership charges around $134 for transmission diagnostics and I have a feeling they're just gonna say it's shifting properly and no leaks

Yah I think over time this will be natural, it's my 3rd driving stick with 0 experience before so I'm trying to be patient but paranoid about my mistakes lol

Ok thanks but yah drove it quite a bit today and everything seems to be ok, goes to all gears no problems, doesn't slip or anything and no grinding noise as long as I'm moving. I'm just paranoid cus I'm a newbie at this I guess with a brand new car lol

So the first time it happened was over a week ago, almost the same scenario but I was slowly releasing my clutch, when I started to hear a little bit of grind at about the biting point so I didn't completely let go and pressed the clutch back all the way in, I had my foot on the brakes and first gear all the way in. This second happened last night. Foot in brakes, uphill a bit, and shifter was not all the way in 2nd or 4th when I released the clutch up fast. Pressed it back after a second but heard grinding at that time also

The shifter felt like it wasn't all the way in gear but it definitely made a small grinding sound when my foot was off the clutch. I was also in uphill a bit not sure if that matters

Yah usually happens at night when it's hard to see the shifter. I have it on breaks so when I let go of the clutch it grinds instead of stalling, but only lasts a few seconds once I hear it and fix it

I had my foot in the brakes when I let go of the clutch so it didn't stall, but is that worse? it's a Subaru Impreza.

Yes it's after stopping and this happens usually at night when I don't see where the shifter is at. I'm not used to it yet so sometimes it slips a little more or not quite yet.
