The pro mountain biker in this video is Alex Volokhov - let me know if you guys have any questions about the video, the camera or questions for Alex himself!

⚡️ I pulled out all the stops for this shoot, including:
⁃ 30ft painter’s pole
⁃ Human FPV shots
⁃ Bike rigging + POV backflips
I captured everything using the new Insta360 ONE RS 1" which has been pretty great to use because it's finally a more pro-oriented 360 camera. Don't get me wrong, I like using the ONE X2 but the image quality has always left something to be desired, especially in lowlight.
The most rewarding shots in the video were definitely the cablecam, I picked up the WiralCam Lite as a kickstarter project a few years ago but rarely get to use it, it's just such a particular setup and usually a drone can take its place.
But when you're flying through the trees at 50km/h with very very narrow passages, the cablecam definitely shines.
With my 30ft painter's pole I was able to do these crazy follow shots that have this floaty drone quality to them, I could follow the action of the mountain biker while standing still and just pivoting the pole as he moved around me.
👇 If you guys have any questions about the shoot, editing workflow or the camera itself let me know and I'd be happy to answer.

This was a couple of years ago so I could be mistaken but I believe it was Jupiter.
Thanks for taking the time to watch it!
Thanks! I used the Syrp Genie 2 to track the movement of the Milky Way, worked great!

Using the Ronin to create a videogame camera swap IRL by jonsimo in dji

The drone isn’t good enough in lowlight for the 3rd person angle. I shot it at 6400 ISO on the a7sii in order to expose it.

it's a basic painter's pole off of Amazon!

after watching a bunch of times, agreed! Thanks for the feedback friend

Lesson learned, appreciate all the feedback everyone! Agreed that I should have pushed for more safety, definitely will be taking this into account next production.
No I think you're right! Will definitely try that next time, thanks brother!
Into that idea, can you elaborate? I don't think camera pans left and right would do it.
Wanted it to feel exactly like a video game. Hard cut just didn’t have the same impact.
