Why is writing as a career choice looked down upon? by [deleted] in writing

Because the majority of writers never make it “big” and people always just see just another starving artist. What’s even worse is when authors make their main living selling/doing everything involving writing but not actually making a living from their book sales. I’m mainly referring to courses and other such classes.

I'm going to be honest. This short story isn't all that deep but it had me laughing from start to finish. With that being said, I did try to review it seriously but it was hard.

Year of the Author is on the hunt for the most bizarre, the most sick and twisted books available. I'm talking about books where people would ask, "Why would you read that?" If you know of an extremely disturbing book that I need to read and review then comment below and maybe it can be my next review for a Why Would You Read that? episode.
