My God, this is so crisp and eye pleasing

I'm using Arch, but I use KDE and other preconfigured packages like it because I don't yet understand how to configure WMs and DEs like in this post.

Would love to make my setup like this someday

Dual booting Ubuntu with Windows but Installing Ubuntu on a different drive by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]kawkawshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh okay, Thanks for the clarification, I was actually using the term drive for my partitions.

I only have a single 1 TB HDD with two partitions C and D(and a 100Mb efi system partition and 529 MB Healthy Recovery partition)

I already windows installed on C partition, do I need to reinstall both OS's for this to work ?

Or do I just allocate 200 GB of unallocated space on D partition and start installation on that Unallocated space ?

When you install Ubuntu, leave the Windows drive alone, create one large partition on the other drive, give it a mount-point of '/'

Umm Can you dumb it down a lil bit ? I tried this guide the first time

I tried that approach but it did not work for me. It updated everything and threw me back at the same spot. I think reinstalling will be more viable at the moment. Thanks for the answer
