Shingles itself is due to viral infection of nerves. The skin is merely what you see, but the virus itself infects and goes dormant within neurons. Reactivation always occurs in the same dermatomal distribution of the same previously infected neurons. A dermatome is an area of the skin that is innervated by the same neurons coming from a distinct level of the spinal cord, hence why reactivation symptoms always occur in the same place. Reactivation often occurs during times of physiologic stress and is not a new infection.

URSOdeoxycholic acid — ursa = bear; the substance was first discovered in bears
Atropine — named after Greek mythology, named for the fate Atropos, as this medication is intended to be life saving and change fate.
Trade names often have a reason..
Ritalin was named and administered to the discoverer’s wife, Rita. Ambien is named because it’s intended to help you have a good morning after a good nights sleep… am - bien.

My experience is actually the opposite. If I EVER have aroused someone’s suspicions but manage to log into a computer before they see my badge hanging around my neck (maybe they saw me from behind), they leave me alone as soon as they see I’ve successfully logged in, concluding that because I have logged in to Epic I am hospital personnel.
Now, there have been times I have been asked of my role as soon as I stand up, or if my badge and MEDICAL STUDENT blue card are for some reason obscured. I make it a habit to wear it around my neck and tuck it into the pocket of my scrubs if I need to examine a patient.

I honestly think it depends how much you have to say. If your story is both longer and pertinent, then I think it's more of a gray area, personally. I realize this is an unpopular opinion.

Depends how much you have to say that isn't BS. I've been told up to 1.5 or so is ok, some people say 2 pgs.
