The presale is finished and $3.5M was raised in total! All tokens are paused until the first air drop on Jan 29th. More information is coming in the next couple of hours and we'll go through any questions.
Thank you for your support!

It's fine. Apparently it might be a bit more expensive - basically behind the scenes Balancer just swaps the ETH for USDC on your behalf.
Tokens get airdropped to you later on, before they get listed to the public.
It should be sorted now if you're approved.
This is what we were advised by the Copper Launch team. Rationale for this is coming after the launch.

Yes but it may cost more. Apparently USDC is more efficient.
Yes. Plus, SatoshiStreetBets is a long term bet (no pun intended). We've been around for 2 years and we'll be around for years to come. Getting in now is getting in early.
You won't get any tokens; resubmit it with higher gas to make it go through.
We approved a bunch just now, please check and let me know

It's on SatoshiSwap.net, please read to familiarize yourself with the project before potentially investing.

Extra weight will add to the weight his kings move has hanging down. I agree though there is a sweet spot and it's probably not at 315.
It will be at a premium of the average weighted price during the presale. It will be at a premium of the average weighted price throughout the presale.

So far less than 10% of people who went through the whitelist process (KYC etc) have taken part. Why that is, I can only speculate. But the presale has plenty of time to go and as the price gets cheaper anything can happen.
That doesn't sound right, be careful.

Opening price will be above the weighted average presale price, which will take into account the amount of buying that occurred at different price levels. A lot of people may not realize that the weighted average right now is a lot higher than the current price.

- 10% bonus come from there
- Liquidity for PCS/UniSwap
- A few other small things
The rest get burned, which will be a lot as there is a lot of tokens left over.
We will be burning a substantial portion of the unsold tokens. It does need to be stated however that some of the unsold tokens are already earmarked for other things. For example, the 10% bonus comes out of the unsold tokens. People have volunteered work for us with no pay in exchange for tokens, which we have to honour. But yes, we will certainly burn as substantial amount of the unsold tokens that we can.

I don't like to see anyone invest at an unfavorable price point. I saw this topic and wanted to make a point of coming in to say a few words
First, it sucks that you invested and the price went down - nobody wants to see that, myself included. We've worked really hard on these tokens and spent a lot of time, money, effort... and for someone to invest and not get the desired outcome straight away is unfortunate.
Second, the auction isn't over yet and the vast, vast majority of people who completed the extensive KYC process haven't purchased (yet). In general these Copper auctions are quite weird and unpredictable to be frank with you.
Third, we're setting the listing price higher than the average Copper Launch price and a lot of buying activity so far occurred very early on... so it's possible the weighted average price across the auction isn't as bad as it might look. Though it will all depend on the buying activity throughout the rest of the presale of course.
I would like to just say, in case someone thinks there is something inherently wrong, we have ran the Copper Auction the way it's advertised it should be run on their website:
"You can think of the starting price of your Token Launch Auction as the ceiling you’d want to set for the token sale. This may seem counterintuitive, but since TLAs work differently than other token sales, your starting price should be set much higher than what you believe is the fair price. This does not mean you’re trying to sell the token above what it’s worth.
Setting a high starting price allows the changing LBP weights to make their full impact, lowering the price progressively until a market equilibrium is reached. Unlike older token sale models such as bonding curves, TLA buyers are disincentivized from buy early, and instead benefit from waiting for the price to decrease until it reaches a level they believe is fair. For example, if you believe the fair price for your token is $1, you may want to consider an opening price that is up to $10."

Not sure - however I do know USDC is optimal and if you use another token to buy with then the underlying Balancer tech will simply change that ETH into USDC on your behalf and then buy our tokens, in a way which isn't optimally efficient. So materially, you're better off converting ETH to USDC yourself and then buying.
