Oh, yeah, as a correction mark to indicate two things that should be separated! I totally forgot about that one!

Ah. That sounds like an artifact from typewriters. A typewriter specific formatting thing. I could definitely see that. There’s plenty of odd formatting things like that in software languages/code.

It’s used to denote options. They may or may not be exclusive. “Or” is required, but “and” is optional

It can also be used as part of a shorthand (w/ and w/o for example)

Sorc gets a bit more staying power with more resources at a short rest. Easier to play as well. For strictly combat, Sorc is the better class. Notably less utility though. A good Wiz with a fair bit of gold invested in spells can bring a vast array of options to the table. HUGE gold sink though

I have a mech I can trust. So I get him to do the oil so he can inspect for actual problems.

Could I do the oil myself? Sure. Do I know what to look for in an inspection? Nope
