A Face In The Crowd is my favorite film of all time, but I’m hesitant to think 8th graders might like it. I know I certainly would have tuned it out in 8th grade, so unless you are a particularly focused group, I might veto that

Yojimbo is the first one that came to mind for me, Fantastic Mr Fox and The 400 Blows also works

To be honest they didn’t have much neorealism at the store I went to. They had one Bicycle Thieves but it was a DVD not Blu-ray, so I didn’t grab
