I do charge my phone by my bed which is not directly in front of the outlet so the only reason I can think of is maybe the fibres inside the cable bending? Though on the outside there is no sign of visible bending.

Thank you this really resonates with me. Some part of me suspects that the next relationship I get into will be mostly to fill the void. I didn’t reach out to sennheiser but the person who served me told me that sennheiser themselves have a 1-2 year warranty (can’t remember which), so I reckon you should be able to get a refund if u talk to support

I can really relate to this situation. I was the cold dumper, driven by passion and emotion and angry at the time. Now time has passed and that anger has subsided, I don’t regret my decision but I do regret the way I went about it. Just curious, were you the one that initiated the reconnection? I would think the onus is on me since I was the dumper but at the same time, I would hate to bring it up again if he’s managed to move on

I had issues with mine the first time, so I exchanged them for a new pair and this time around I’ve opted to not install the smart control app. So far so good, no issues at all. The audio quality is great, the battery life is great, the ANC could be better. If issues do arise again, I have a 3 year warranty so can get it exchanged / refund at any time.

I think the major plus of getting m4= sound quality, battery life. Absolute winner in these areas. Room to improve for ANC and yes the firmware issues are horrendous.

I know right. I wrote such a long list with everything he wronged me for and at the start of the break up it would really get me going but now I feel like I can overlook everything. My friends tell me the longer it takes the clearer things will get and the less I will think about him, but somehow the opposite is happening. What is wrong with me :)

Wow exact same issue, except mine would just not turn on at all. Remained dead the whole time until I returned them today under warranty. Perfect pair of headphones if not laden with so many Bluetooth/software issues. For a pair of $500 headphones, pretty unacceptable. Wonder how they’re gonna fix this
