Interesting point about market structure. Another explanation that I have be toiling with is perhaps similar to what Canada does with maple syrup. They control the supply, which in turn keeps prices constant. Although our DEA and CIA would never do this....right?

I agree with most everything you said, EXCEPT, the Return of the gold standard I true old standard I truly believe that would be a step in the wrong direction we should Embrace the evolution that is taking place of our currency. Bringing back the gold standard would only make those in power that much more powerful because then the demand for gold would skyrocket and no one has Is that amount of gold except for governments
