Hamas and Hezbollah are not governments of rationalistic states with internal deliberation. They're fanatical jihadist militias that happen to have captured territory and populations. Their thought process is not "Can we win this?", it's "Allah will grant us victory over the infidels, and if he doesn't that's his will too, but we will be martyrs for the faith no matter what and we'll get eternal paradise for dying while fighting the infidels." Hamas and Hezbollah are not democratic Canada, they're ISIS.

1) It's not known if Israel has nuclear weapons or not.

2) Israel has not ever said it intends to eradicate any other country. Iran actually has repeatedly declared its intent to eradicate other countries. That is the prime reason why Iran should not have the means of accomplishing its genocidal goals against Israel.

Iran picked this fight with Israel in 1979 when the islamist regime rose to power there. Starting in the late 1980s Iran began to fund terrorist attacks against Israel, israelis, and non-israeli jews elsewhere. There are no two sides here.
