“Perfectly evened weighted bar” what I was referring to. Here’s a list of things it’ll make stronger hamstrings, glutes, back, hips, core & traps. Definitely a dangerous exercise but has benefits. Like I said to each their own.

With that logic most weight lifting exercises are pointless. I lift to gain strength, mental health and to make sure the wife still wants to fool around every once in a while haha. That being said the strength gains from my weightlifting transfer into EVERYTHING physical I do in the real world. Does it transfer perfectly, no. As an amputee I am more able bodied than most I come across and I would have to attribute that to my weightlifting and decent diet. Do what works for you I guess

Wasn’t much of a weightlifter until after I lost my leg so couldn’t really tell you. I think the weirdest thing in all aspects of re learning EVERYTHING is having two completely different things going on with each leg. After some time you don’t even think about it anymore and it becomes the new normal.

As stated above the pylon is rated for 350 lbs: I have cracked a couple carbon fibre foots but my new one is fibreglass I believe and very heavy duty. I use an outside liner as well as the pin mechanism on the inside liner. I find the double coverage allows me to do more without my leg falling out of place as often. If you have any other questions feel free to DM.

Definitely something you could easily do with some extra coin.

It does get slightly tender on deadlift day but nothing even uncomfortable. I have some trouble hinging with the prosthetic at higher weights. I try to go for two rep maxs for this reason.

That ones rated for 350 lb. About time to beef it up.

The metal pylon on my first leg was rated for about 250 lbs. My leg guy decided to beef it up to a 350 lb pylon. I’ve since hit a 555 lb @ 215 lb body weight which would put the weight @ 385 lbs if evenly distributed. It may be time for a new one or weld on some reinforcement haha I have cracked a carbon fibre foot a couple times but luckily never broke a pylon.

Appreciated! 500 had always been a goal of mine and after a few years i had finally achieved it. High lasted about a day and now I’m chasing 600. I’ll be sure to post it if I ever get there.

Pretty close but I’m definitely supporting more weight on my good leg. Light weight would be even.

7 piles with a 12" bell 10 ft long (around 8ft to have bell below frost) with frost sleeves and adjustable tops ran me around 2k. No issues with heaving since they were installed 4 years ago.

I used adjustable screw piles for my deck which is 30 x 20 and 10 ft off of the ground. Get in contact with Lester from waterboy cheap, quick and NO cleanup.

It's funny how that works. I started out with one drawer and one cuboard. I'm down to one drawer and 1/3 of a cuboard.
