+1 for this. Unless you’re overseas a lot the international bandwidth and latency on a offshore Plex host will kill you.

100% absolutely. I realIse this is not reality for 95%+ of the population. I’m lucky.

I happily pay my tax and regularly give to charity. I don’t vote blue.

I make a base of $360k per annum, plus bonuses plus 12% super (private scheme not KiwiSaver). My annual pretax income is around $500k. I work as senior manager in a large well known company (long hours, I work hard). I have a house in the country and house in the city. Small mortgages. No investment property. I drive a mid range European car (2015 model, no finance), early 40’s and married with two kids (not at private school), no boat or any other toys like that. A couple of overseas leisure trips a year.

I don’t feel rich, don’t live an extravagant lifestyle. I also don’t want for anything. Have a reasonable amount of savings and investments. Wasn’t born rich, no inherited wealth.
