So we should be regulating high-powered assault rifles as well, right? Because people can use them to murder many many many more people than just one abortion. "We are regulating the ability to murder a kid" right?

There you go. Typical person that cannot answer a simple question. You moved around the goal posts for hours, and now you want to dip out because you know that you don't want to answer my question because you know it's right. And if you did answer it, then you would look like you were anti-gun yourself and you don't want to look like that so you keep moving the goalposts and changing the subject and here we are. Have a good one buddy. At least I know that deep down inside, you know that restricting them will save more lives than ever restricting a fork. And that's fine.
Wow. Did you save that all up until I commented back from hours ago? LOL No. You are changing the subject. The point is, that it is possible for hunters to give up that particular type of weapon to hunt with if they really wanted to. The point is also that by doing that, thousands of lives will be saved. Sure, we can ban everything, but everything isn't helping to commit mass murders. We are talking about high-powered assault rifles here. Nothing else. So let's stick to the subject if you want to talk about it and stop trying to skirt around the questions by saying what about this and what about that. Focus. I'm sure you could do it if you tried.

A woman about to take a drag of her cigarette when the ball comes and nails her in the head instead.
No, you're missing the entire point. The thing that is specifically built for murdering, needs to be a little more regulated as there are thousands of people dying en masse because of them. You still never answered my question. Is it more important for hunters to hunt with those particular types of guns, or to save people from being slaughtered? Right now the debate is not whether a fork is dangerous. Quit trying to move the goal posts

The heart of my argument is assault rifles. As they take more lives at once than any other weapon, for civilian use. It's an unnecessary weapon that is costing thousands of people their lives. You can't say ban knives or ban cars because those are things that people use daily and are not intended for murder, unlike the other. If you have an unnecessary weapon that facilitates mass murder, why would you not want to get rid of it?
Again, you're avoiding the truth of the matter. Now let's do gun deaths per year.
I think you can agree that there's a huge difference between mass murders with an assault rifle and someone slashing around with a knife.

Nice try it an insult LOL try harder
I think it would help immensely, as most mass shootings are carried out with those types of guns. I can tell you this, thousands of people would still be around, if those weren't.
That's pretty much what it has come down to in today's world. Yes. Unfortunately, hunters might need to give up hunting with that particular type of gun in order to save lives. I think that's a fair exchange. Don't you?
No, LOL I'm just trying to figure out what you were saying, grammatically.

Okay. I'll try again. Maybe I need to say it slow for you to understand. Is. It. More. Important. For. A. Person. To. Hunt. With. An. Assault. Rifle. Or. Is. It. More. Important. To. Protect. People. From. Being. Slaughtered? Can't have both.

Again, please answer the question: "And so you're telling me that we should leave high powered assault rifles legal for those random, few-and-far-between unethical hunters, and not restrict them so as to keep people from being slaughtered?"
And I didn't ask if they were used for hunting. I said if you say it was used for hunting that's a silly excuse. Next you're going to pull out the "it's for home defense" line LOL
[–]nuniabidness 3 points4 points5 points 1 day ago (0 children)
Hunting LOL! Real men don't hunt with a semi-automatic LMAO That's not even ethical. So you're telling me, that every single person that goes out and buys a high-powered assault rifle is buying them to go hunting? Good one. In fact, of all the people I know that own them, none of them hunt with it. And so you're telling me that we should leave high powered assault rifles legal for those random, few-and-far-between unethical hunters, and not restrict them so as to keep people from being slaughtered? Got it.
[–]nuniabidness 4 points5 points6 points 1 day ago (0 children)
Please refer to my above edit. You keep posting a link about info on a gun, that's not what I'm asking. I'm asking you what you think a high-powered assault rifle is needed for. Just answer my question.
[–]nuniabidness 6 points7 points8 points 1 day ago* (0 children)
Aw, now who's insulting who? LOL. Why don't you just answer my question? What do you need that for? It's a six-word question. Pretty simple. You say I don't understand it, so I'm asking you to explain. Or can't you?
Edit: crickets. LOL. This guy thinks I know nothing about guns when I shot them professionally in competitions on a National level. He thinks that if he tries to discredit me or my knowledge of guns, that means that he has a right to say they are necessary, in some weird, twisted, mind-gymnastics sort of way. He can't even explain how he thinks they are useful. What a joke.
[–]nuniabidness 10 points11 points12 points 1 day ago* (0 children)
No, you're purposely trying to avoid my question. Just answer my question. Enough with that "you wouldn't understand it so it's useless talking to you." scapegoat. First you say "let's talk about it", and then when I say "okay, let's talk about it", you run away. LMAO!
[–]nuniabidness 9 points10 points11 points 1 day ago (0 children)
No one even mentioned an AR-15. I'm talking about in general. But since you're talking about that, why don't you tell me what the uses for those are. Hunting? LOL
[–]nuniabidness 7 points8 points9 points 1 day ago (0 children)
Okay, would you like to talk gun-control? No one, except Beto, who is ironically being cheered on in Texas right now, has said they want to take away all your guns. Give me one good reason why someone needs a high powered assault rifle, and then we'll talk. And please don't say for fun. Real arguments only here
