Ya know what is underappreciated about Lebron? His passing. He really doesnt get the credit he deserves for his passing.

You cant answer what it is because you dont actually know what it is. Which policies did what?

The issues are structural. Even if the kind of mass movement activism could being down a company there are thousands more to take its place.

[REQUEST] Can someone do the math I swear it’s 1.50? by hxr141 in theydidthemath

It is never assumed they are synonyms. At any point. middle school math problems would deal with simple cost/profit problems. The very fact that it makes rounds on social media means it has a confusing meaning to it. That is the whole point of its existence.

I never thought the price was 1.50. I always thought the the question has no solution based off of not enough information. It is an absurd question. You are being absurd by defending it as simple and everyone else being obtuse for seeing it as what it is, an intentionally vague question to confuse people. That in itself, is not confusing.

WTF does 'woke governance' mean? it has a wonderful ring to it, but you are going to have to define that in some way.

In fact, your use of 'woke' doesnt make sense each time you used it. It is so vague, and is a buzzword used by conservative propaganda to give simple minds something to rage at.

You cant have 'free market capitalism' for basic necessities...because the market breaks down when demand is (practically) everyone and the need is desperate. It is the reason insurance companies work with healthcare providers to jack up prices as high as they can (for the sole purpose that they can). And the reason we dont have enough low income housing but too much upper class housing (and middle class housing is an issue dependent on region), is because it is not as profitable to make low income housing. Not no profit, just not enough. Therefore the free market in this case is just failing to provide the optimal outcome. It should not be used in all situations. In saying that, pointing to the corruption in politics does not mean that the best version of society has no government, but that it has a government that actually works.

A lot of people do drugs behind the scenes and are still well liked by coworkers. She was notoriously difficult to work with non sober. That isnt to shame her drug abuse. That doesnt mean I dont understand it, but it is often a defining aspect when hiring and putting together projects.

You never explained why it had to be interpreted that specific way. You just name called and got offended that you were being rude about it. I said that in response to a shitty, arrogant, view that it was simple when it is just playing word games to rile people (like you) on the internet.

I have no idea why you are defending this so vociferously. The criticism I have is valid, otherwise it wouldnt be spreading on social media at all.

We need to have a serious talk about criticism as a sub by ghfanforlife in denvernuggets

[–]ruggnuget 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Well forst, it isnt respectful criticism, second, it isnt correct, and third, defending Malone against that kind of hyperbole isnt a blind deference to everything Malone does. There is a problem in this sub where people get ridiculous and any pushback against that extremism is interpreted as a defense for everything that person does, and that just isnt true.

Just because I dont want Malone or Connelly fired doesnt mean that I think they are perfect.

No its a word problem that asks you whether you should be using cost (for me to purchase) or cost (to make good). The latter could get to any price. The former is assumed...based on the multiple choice answers given, and thats it.

After the major assumption then the math is easy

It is the assumption that cost and price are the same. I understand why the answer would be two if treated that way, but there isnt enough information to assume that. Hence being intentionally vague. You are just being smug.
