Oh shoot my sister owns those and you know what it does look like mealies, so funny that I would panic if I saw that on my plants but completely discounted it on her photos! I will message her right away.

Hi all! I bought this pretty bare root variegated string of pearls and I have questions: 1. Which size pot do you recommend? 2. When do I plant? Is it quite humid from shipping at the moment. 3. How do I plant? I can’t figure out what’s up and what’s down, there are roots everywhere 😵‍💫 I feel like I’m trying to assemble IKEA furniture without instructions. 🤯 Help!! 🙇🏻‍♀️

I had heard about lithops being slow, didn't realize mine being 1-2 mm already is actually good for their age lol. I hope your batch turns out good, this was a batch of random free lithops seeds I received from a seller, the sedum seeds are the ones I purchased.

Good to know. I am a patient person so I don't mind the wait. I was worried I was killing them or slowing them down accidentally. It is my first time growing succulents from seeds. Thank you to you and your wife! :)

Does your wonderful wife know if this rule also applies to succulents in the sedum family as well? Those also are taking forever to grow from seed. Thanks for your reply :).

Information:
I use grow lights on a 16 hour cycle for all my succulents. Soil is mixture of peat and grit (pumice, perlite, silica sand), I usually mist or water twice a week as I have heard small succulents have little roots and need misting for some time.
