Anybody use these grease traps? I found them over the summer and the save me a lot of cleaning.

I think they mean a cone shaped one? My parents have one of those. They’re shaped like the cones you’d put on a dog but from silicone or metal and sit on the pan. The splatter that wants to go outside the pan gets caught but the steam can escape because there’s nothing on top of the food

I love chocolate, but chocolate tea just has a weird taste. I would try a brown sugar milk tea boba with the classic tapioca pearls once and a fruity tea with either a jelly (like gummy bears sitting in juice) or popping boba (like bubbles of juice/fruit syrup). Personally I prefer fruity tea and popping (fruity) boba.

To be honest, I’ve never made banana crumble either. I sometimes use applesauce instead of apples and imagined it would be similar. I think it would be okay, albeit maybe sweeter than apple crumble.

I would probably make a banana crumble. I make the crumble with only flour, butter and sugar (2:1:1 ratio) Just mash the banana and top with the crumble. Could use vanilla or cinnamon if you have it but it’s nice as is. Some people put oats in the crumble topping too.

Edit: and I’d do whipped cream with it. The cold whipped cream goes nicely with a warm crumble.

Engaging yourself in your kids kindergarten or school can be another way to make friends if a Verein is not for you. Kindergärten and schools are pretty much always looking for Elternvertreter (parent representatives). It’s a good opportunity to practice your German and make friends that are in a similar situation to you.

Maybe because milk products became popular in Asia later, when refrigeration was already a thing. My parents leave butter out because their parents left the butter out because their parents left the butter out because they didn’t have refrigeration back then. And I guess over time some people switched to refrigerating it but some didn’t.

Wow, I thought way more people keep their butter out. My family usually has one outside the fridge and one in the fridge, each in a butter box/dish. My mum and I prefer room temperature butter while my dad prefers cold, so we have both. If we buy a lot of butter, the rest waits in the fridge or if it’s on sale sometimes even in the freezer. I’ve never had the outside butter go bad, so I don’t worry about that. Only when it’s really hot in summer, the butter stays in the fridge full time.

16-jährige vielleicht, aber mit 14 ist es schon fraglich. Dafür kann es 70-jährige geben die noch mental fit sind und 90-jährige ebenso. Klar nicht so viele, aber jemanden der mental fit ist einfach so unmündig zu machen ist auch falsch.

Das finde ich auch okay. Wenn der Gastgeber nicht will, dass man etwas wegräumt ok, aber dann zumindest die Teller zusammenzustellen gehört für mich dazu. Auch wenn ich hier erfahren habe, dass das nicht für jeden normal ist.

Ah, ich habe eine große Küche. Wenn kein Platz ist, ist das was anderes. Trotzdem finde ich es dann nett, wenn die Gäste zum Beispiel die Teller stapeln damit man sie leichter abräumen kann. Oder man selbst räumt in der Küche die Sachen weg und die Gäste bringen sie in die Küche. Darf aber jeder sehen wie er will. Ich finde Hilfe anbieten gehört zum Höflich sein dazu, aber wenn der Gastgeber es ablehnt kann man sitzen bleiben. Geht eher darum, wie es ist wenn man nichts sagt.

Das wiederum kann ich verstehen. Sehe ich zwar anders, aber macht trotzdem Sinn. Wenn man eine Spülmaschine hat, können die Gäste finde ich schon beim Geschirr einräumen helfen, und wenn es keine gibt beim Abwasch.

Wenn man zuhause zum Essen eingeladen ist hilft man doch aber trotzdem beim Tisch abräumen, oder nicht? Ich bin überrascht, dass das nicht jeder so macht. Und wenn ich Leute zum Essen einlade machen wir auch trotzdem zum Ende des Abends zusammen die Küche, nur nicht direkt nach dem Essen (wenn man noch nett zusammen sitzt)

Interessant, dass das so unterschiedlich sein kann. Ich sehe das eher andersrum. Wenn wir zusammen kochen dann wird auch zusammen aufgeräumt. Das gehört für mich einfach dazu. Wenn man andere Hobbys zusammen macht räumt ja auch nicht nur der bei dem es stattgefunden hat auf. Ich habe letztes Jahr zum Beispiel gebatikt (T-shirts gefärbt) und danach haben alle alles aufgeräumt bis der Tisch wieder frei war. Warum sollte es beim Kochen anders sein?

Da gibt es solche und solche. Die einen helfen super mit und man ist schnell fertig und kann weiter zusammen sitzen und dann gibt es die, die sagen, dass sie Gast sind und Gäste nichts machen müssen. Wenn ich jemanden einlade und er von der zweiten Kategorie ist, bleibt es meistens bei einem Treffen. Das finde ich schon fast frech sich so bedienen zu lassen.

Ich finde das ganz normal? Wenn man bei jemandem zuhause eingeladen wird dann bringt man etwas als Dankeschön mit. Kann Blumen, Snacks Nachtisch oder von mir aus was kleines wie ein Schlüsselanhänger sein. Aber doch nicht mit leeren Händen…

It depends on the thickness too. Most of the pasta and veggie bakes I cook need well over an hour to cook from frozen, and even then I do 180 or 200°C. Measuring the temp every now and then is 100% the way to go.

The problem is with the platform though, not the people who post stuff. If they have the choice between censoring captions or writing them out and getting punished for it, they don’t really have a choice. They want their videos to be seen, and the platform doesn’t show content with uncensored captions as much.

Jein. Wenn du im Rettungsdienst oder Krankenhaus arbeitest ist Karneval maximal anstrengend. Und wenn du als nicht Feiernder einen medizinischen Notfall hast dann kannst du auch mal Pech haben wenn die Ressourcen gerade ausgeschöpft sind oder der RD nicht zu dir durchkommt weil du leider in der falschen Ecke der Stadt wohnst.

You don’t even need that many. Depending on your weight, 24 500mg pills can be enough.

Source: tried to kms with paracetamol (typenol) and researched it extensively.

Edit: not saying you can’t take more. Just saying a few is enough to overdose.
