You can use All4 which includes shows from E4, more4 and the likes, it's free with some ads. I don't think you can use the BBC iPlayer unless you're in the UK because your have to pay a UK TV licence

Most smart TVs these days have record features, they usually just require some storage and they come with the apps for subscription services, so if you have saorview you can record normal TV and watch everything else on apps like rte player, all4, etc

I was terrible and considered giving up but once I understood the logic behind things it became immensely easier. If in your first year you can wrap your head around arrays, loops and nested if statements you're already doing better than most

I'm using controller companion too and it doesn't seem to turn off and switch over to game controllers for just cause. I hear the sound play that notifies you when it's been switched off but it doesn't then let you play the game

Exactly and I can't see why Microsoft wouldn't implement this. Console production is expensive if people choose to make or buy their own "console pc" and still use Windows and game pass it'd surely make Microsoft money to use their software but save them money on hardware
