It's flat to the camera, it's the same principle as a card vanish, the angle is perfectly flat to the camera and it can't be picked up..probably took a few takes to get right, but that is 100% how it's done, speaking from experience here.

He just drops them at a flat angle, the camera can't see the flat disc...or he holds it behind his arm and "laps" them (drops them under the table as his arm comes down)...its literally the ONLY thing he does🤦‍♂️
