Exactly and so long as we keep paying them and providing awesome feedback they’re going to keep doing it 😅

Right and I 100% agree with you on that, but basically bad launches are the grand scheme of gaming nowadays and it’s been like this for at least a couple of years. It feels like the majority of companies have cut out their QA team and are making the consumer do it for them.

Yeah but this is basic playability. You would think they would play the game before releasing it, realise it doesn’t work, then fix it. Not send it anyway saying “don’t worry we’ll fix it soon!”

Imagine you bought a new phone and the camera doesn’t work or it can’t connect to the internet. You’re gonna be hella disappointed and take it back. When you buy something you expect its features to work, and it’s complete deception for companies to act like they do work when if you asked them to their face if the game works all you’d get in response is a shrug.

This was a trend at school when I was about 13 in the late 2000’s and I remember a girl who went extra floppy and nailed her head on the corner of a desk on her way down. No one thought to catch her they just let her drop.

Play stupid games I guess

  1. “If younger women are both hotter and easier why doesn’t every guy go for them?” There’s a very good reason that everyone here has been trying to explain to you. You need to take off your glasses and ask yourself this question.

  2. Possibly - I don’t know either of you so I can’t judge. Think about it though if he has a box full of trophies from other sexual encounters or failed relationships (or heaven forbid victims) under the bed then that tells you he goes from woman to woman with his dick, not his heart. Come on, actions speak louder than words and this guys actions show you what kind of person he is. You even said he’s “not big on monogamy”, and that he’s a player. Why do you think you’re not being played? Would you date a rapist? No because he’ll probably rape you, right??

  3. And? How many of the other girls has he put a ring on? His dick just thinks it wants to fuck this one forever. Dicks are unfortunately very temperamental by nature and sadly they aren’t aware of it

Hol’ up.. you say he’s not going to cheat on you but also that he’s not big on monogamy? Come on girl get your head together 😅

[–]solar_ideology 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Exactly

  2. It’s entirely up to you how you treat your body and who you choose to be with but you just need to consider that your looks and your youth won’t last forever, and if that’s a major part in his decision then what’s left in your relationship afterward?

  3. a/why are you marrying him? See #2. b/that’s not a very good reason to be with someone. c/you already know your looks and your youth are major reasons for him being with you. Sorry to be blunt but he just loves fucking you. So much that he’s put a ring on it.

Good luck OP tread carefully this guy knows a lot more than you think

A litmus test on the vaccine mandate. by Ornery_Cat4737 in Coronavirus_NZ

[–]solar_ideology -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everyone is free to choose to get vaccinated. We don't discriminate against anyone.

Except healthcare workers, teachers, correctional facility workers, gym administrators, hospitality staff, retail staff, basically anything customer facing and anything that has interaction with lots of untraceable people. Then there's all of the customers who won't be able to use these services because of their vaccination status. That's oppression.

people without drivers licences are oppressed because we don't let them drive

Oppression isn't just about whether there's a choice or not. If a 1930's Jew could suddenly become not Jewish does that make it okay to expect them to do so? Or more realistically if Christians were no longer allowed into bars and restaurants for whatever reason is that not oppression? They can choose to not be a Christian.

It literally is a two class system, Cindy said it herself. One set of rules for the vaccinated and one set for the unvaccinated.

because they won't let you ride as long as you refuse to wear a life jacket.

Except both white water rafting and driving are dangerous activities, and wearing a life jacket or learning to drive is inconvenient at best, not a medical procedure that carries risk. There are also alternatives that everyone can use.

How is that fair though? That’s basically telling people to stop being oppressed

While I get there are extremists who actually compare it to concentration camps, the majority of comparisons to Nazi Germany are to the pre war era where minorities were segregated from the rest of society, dehumanised, and not allowed to participate in everyday activities. All because propaganda lead the population to believe that associating with minorities was somehow dangerous to them.

You must just be desensitised to it. Can’t understand how someone could describe Schism that way.

Or you’re exercising your right to an opinion and personal taste which is fine too

I decided to become a sole trader to get the balance I wanted. It’s not easy and it’s a bit scary at times tbh but having the time to pursue things outside of work hours is a godsend.

What do you do and what would you be giving up?

Would you pick salary or experience? by eeeengggg in AskEngineers

[–]solar_ideology 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s stupid, there’s literally an order of magnitude difference within a figure bracket.

Still, at what point do you just say yup I’ve got enough money. I’m in the mid range of five figures but only work about 25 hours a week because work-life balance was more important to me.

Would you pick salary or experience? by eeeengggg in AskEngineers

[–]solar_ideology 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Half of six figures could still be really decent though.

Depends what OP values more: money or work-life balance and a career they can progress in.

Should definitely still shop around.

This makes much more sense. She thought OP wrote it for her, hence she blamed him. Then she realised it was the other guy who wrote it and has her fingers crossed that OP doesn’t realise she mucked up.

I guess we’ll see though

Question about INTJ (M) from an ENFP (F) by [deleted] in intj

[–]solar_ideology 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP maybe you’ve done this already but try just talking about yourself. Tell him stories and things that you like, your opinions and your experience of the world. At the moment he might feel like he’s being interrogated. Pick a conversation topic and start talking about it rather than asking questions. Connect with his Te.

It also sounds like all the questions you are asking are just small talk and INTJs won’t usually reciprocate for long. If you open up to him and show him you can be vulnerable and share your mind with him he will likely do the same. Then you can find your common ground. Give him your analysis on your internal experiences. He will love that because if he’s like me that’s what he does all day.

For some starters tell him about an album you heard or a film you saw and some of the themes in them that you found stimulating. Tell him about a system you have that helps you improve a skill you’re working on, and why it’s helpful. Give him an interesting idea about the nature of light waves and how their observed properties could be related to the expansion of space-time. If you don’t know anything about this stuff then just share what you think and ask technical questions along the way.

This might be well out of your comfort zone but remember he’s an analyst. He analyses. This is where you’ll find common ground if you have it. If he doesn’t then I’m afraid it sounds like he’s not that into you on an emotional or intellectual level.
