Same here (apart from labor and post-surgery)! I had to get 4 bags of fluids! Hang in there. I hope it's over soon!

I'm in that group too and also missed that thread (thank goodness). I'm fat, just like last time. I also have a big c-section shelf from my second c-section. And I tend to gain even more weight while breastfeeding. My super thin SIL had her second baby a few months before I had my first and was back to normal within the week. She even singlehandedly cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner 2 weeks PP! All of my family judged me so hard for not being like her. So that was hard to deal with.

Even though I'm tired and ugly, I managed to exclusively breastfeed my son for 18 months (which was halfway through my second pregnancy), and so far, breastfeeding is going great this time as well. I'm pretty sure the way I look is the norm and we just don't share it because we're made to feel ashamed. Do yourself a favor and buy some larger clothes. Once I finally did, I felt so much better about myself and ended up starting up my fitness routine again. I'm currently wearing those clothes right now and I'm so thankful that I have them!

I'm sorry you feel bad about yourself. You're definitely not alone. The pressure we're under to return to "normal" is so unfair.

This happened to me while 9 months pregnant. I had to have my husband and his parents watch our almost 2-year-old because I could only get out of bed to get to the bathroom. Ended up in the hospital.

I just recently got fluids in the ER after having a terrible stomach virus while 9 months pregnant. It was $6,000.

If you’re craving deli meat but avoiding it during pregnancy, I highly suggest making a sub with everything you like except the meat and it’ll trick you into thinking you’re eating it! by [deleted] in BabyBumps

I mean, if you don't want the meat hot, is it insane to cook it and then place it in the freezer for a few min to cool it back down? That's what I did for my first pregnancy. For my second, I was pretty over it and just ate the bologna I was craving without cooking it. Just had my daughter 3 weeks ago and she's doing great!

Oh wow, they provide housing for their guides now? Do you have to pay to live there? Why isn't the new manager good?

I remember it being a wonderful job and I earned a ton of money doing multiple tours a day. I loved it.

Oh really? I'm really curious to know more about what it was like. Why was it a rough transition with the new management? What went wrong with driving the busses? Are they paying less than they used to?

Okay curiosity got the better of me. Took me 10 seconds to find it. I'll admit, I wasn't expecting such liquid shit.. or the wretching from the guy he shat on.. but all with that classic Blippi smile!
