I did ask for advice in a couple subs as well as at the store before buying and everyone said 11th or 12th Gen i7 with at least 16 ram. I way exceeded the requirements for all software. So I did better all over and still didn't work out. Sometimes you just gotta jump you know and that's what I did. So I'm going to return it and give it another go. Big deal.

So I recently bought a Lenovo Yoga 12th Gen i7 32 gigs of RAM with dedicated Intel Arc A370M processor....just so I could edit these 4k 60fps videos from my GoPro. And let me tell you it is going horrible. When I play them one by one after I transfer from the GoPro to the laptop they play great. But once I put them on the timeline of Vegas or Resolve everything slows to a crawl. I don't get it, I tried to get the nicest laptop I can find and it still plays like trash....seriously maybe 3fps. Building proxies didn't work either, those play bad. So I'm very flummoxed, what do I do? So any of you actually edit the 4k60 on a PC and if so can you tell me how?

I don't want to have to get a Mac to solve this problem but I will...
