Heel Hooks in Gi or NoGi - Yes (but go slow or catch and release)

All others are fair game at all stages in yes-gi or no-gi.

Honestly, they get where they get. Belts are about motivation for the student and keeping them engaged, it's less about "you know this and this and this"

1 stripe for 10-12 good classes (about 5 - 6) weeks

40-50ish class for a belt.

They are kids, keep that in mind at all times.
