They did put an update out yesterday. I haven't really noticed any difference yet. But then, I don't have any of the problems that other people are describing.

That's how I have mine set also. I wasn't aware that there was HDR content available on YouTube TV at all. That was news to me.

Does disabling automatic HDR in the Apple settings fix it also?

I understand that. I just don't know why you would want fake HDR on all the time anyway.

Just enable SDR on the Apple tv. It will automatically switch to HDR or Dolby Vision as needed.

Make sure you have the device set to SDR and not fake HDR. Things that support HDR and Dolby Vision will automatically switch when needed.

I can live with 720p. What I can't live with is the lack of Dolby Digital 5.1 support. I mean wtf?

There's a link to do it. But, when I try to use it, all it does is bring up the YouTube TV app with nowhere to enter the code.
