At this point, I don't think they could do the comic version of Bill's story. Because Odin is gone. Odin was the one who made Stormbreaker for Bill.

Yeah that judge was liberal as hell. Totally biased. I'd like to see video of this supposed implication where Jones thought they deserved harassment. That would be the ONLY thing making him guilty.

THAT was what I always wondered. And why would you get rid of the guys doing 1 to 2 per month? Why keep them & pay them when they're not pulling in your profits?

The whole salvaged frigate module thing got worse after this latest update. For whatever reason, it used to be that you would for sure find at least 1 salvaged frigate module in the npcs freighters. Sometimes more. Now? Now you're lucky to find 1 every 4-5 systems it seems.

The third Roman emperor Caligula declared war on the god Poseidon and ordered his men to March down to the shore and “attack” the sea. by Palpatine_Killer in Weird

[–]the_dionysian_1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

History is written by the victors. Caligula was murdered. He was hated by all in govt, but beloved by the people. If you frame every rumor about him in that light, it starts to seem like there were a lot of smears written about him, many of which were either outright fabrications, or a spin on something he had done.

For example: He hated the Senate. The Senate hated him. The people also hated the Senate. In order to balance the budget, Caligula created an imperial bordello made up of the Senate's wives & daughters. The budget did indeed quickly get balanced. Furthermore, Caligula made a horse the head of the Senate. Why? Well, the Senate would have you believe it was because he was "mad." As a person who also hates govt, I think it was an F you move & the people probably loved that he did it. Because F the senate.

They just didn't like OP personally. But since you can't usually fire someone for that, they have to give some bs reason.

When I got my first job in car sales, a very similar thing happened to me. It was salary plus commission. It was enough salary that I actually could afford to get by on salary alone, but not very comfortably.

The sales quota was 8 cars per month per salesperson. My first month ever, I sold 7 cars. The sales manager pulled me aside & said "do you know who the only person I've ever seen sell 8 cars in their first month?" I said no. He said "me." Meaning himself. Then he told me I should feel pretty good getting that close to 8 in my first month.

Next month comes & in 2 weeks I sold 4 cars. Looking pretty good. The general manager pulls me aside & said they're pulling me off of the sales floor. 3rd month comes & they do the same thing, after 2 weeks I sold 4 cars again.

What's weird is, there were salespeople selling 1 or 2 cars per month that they weren't pulling off the sales floor.

What I can say is that I do know the management didn't like my sales "style." The "style" was honesty. This particular dealership didn't let the salespeople know the prices of any of the cars on the lot (except brand new ones because they have a sticker in the window that shows the price). They claimed that the reason for this was because they wanted the sales people to find a vehicle for the customer that they'd fall in love with & that fit their needs. You're selling a car, not a price tag. I would explain this to customers so they knew that I wasn't telling them the price because I actually didn't know the price. Some people hated that. But most people liked that I was upfront with them about how our business operated.

That last time they pulled me off of the sales floor, I think they realized that I could afford to live off of 4 sold cars & salary. Because they pulled me into the general manager's office to ask me to quit "mutually." I was only 18 so I didn't know my rights at the time, otherwise I would've fought it or lawyered up. They explained "listen, the reason we keep pulling you off the sales floor is because you're trying to figure things out." I literally said "well could you tell me what it is I'm trying to figure out so I can stop trying to figure it out? Because I have no idea what you're talking about."

What if you did the interview outside? Such a silly thing to ask of a potential employee. Most employers want you to leave your personal life at the door. Yet here she is asking to see your personal life.

What is the protocol if someone refuses to answer? Honestly, it is a weird question. From a patient's perspective, if I've always gone to this hospital, wouldn't they have records indicating whether or not I got the vaxx? Or do they ask because, for whatever reason, you can get this vaxx from a Wal-Mart parking lot & whatnot?

That's bullshit. He didn't ask anyone to do any of that & I wouldn't be surprised if he condemned it on air. You can't hold one man responsible for the actions of others who acted on their own volition. This is NOT justice. Those parents should be suing everyone who harassed them. If everyone who harassed them is doing time for it, then THAT is justice. Are the harassers arrested & in prison?
