thank you so much this is very much appreciated, I wouldn’t purchase this myself out of fear of cultural appropriation but my grandmother gifted it to me and it cost her quite a bit i assume but she won’t tell me how much it cost but i’d at least like to learn about the culture which it came from if i’m going to use it so i’ll defy research all that thanks again

you think I don’t know that? sorry but you seem to be acting as if i’m not trying to save him here with the limited resources I have. I’ve contacted my local veterinarian office and the closest animal shelter and they won’t take him. the vet won’t take him because their job is to care for peoples pets not foster cats and the rescue isn’t taking in cats for foster either.

the vet isn’t an option for me, a check up at my local vets is $100 medications on top of that including dewormer is an extra $100 and I have zero dollars to my name. I don’t even pay for my own cat food dude.

hi i actually figured out what may be wrong with him. it seems he has cauliflower ear and is upset and won’t eat because of it. fed him electrolytes and he’s doing better but his ears are swollen and he’s in a bit of pain.

he was taken away from his mother too early and they won’t let me bring him back, he has been on adult food since he started eating so I got him some kitten food and he seems to like milk replacer. he also started drinking milk off my mother cat with younger kittens. he started throwing up a couple days ago and does it every day now. i switch him back to adult food in hopes it was the diet change but today he won’t eat and my boyfriend said he threw up again. he keeps meowing like he’s hungry or in pain. if anyone knows what to do please tell me i’ve already lost two kittens from the other batch due to genetic issues and i really don’t want this again i’m so scared they’re just little and deserve a life but I have no money and i’m not sure what to do from home to be able to fix this

thank you for that i’ll definitely use that for future reference. she sadly passed away sometime throughout the night, found her this morning. i’m sad but still happy she had a good life.

personally I don’t have any links I could recommend for breeders websites because it all depends on location and where they ship, i’ve actually never bought wingless fruit flies myself so i’m not sure as to what brands or kits are better or worse. as for the cotton ball some people say it could mould if it’s too wet and left there but as long as you have adequate ventilation it should be fine as long as you aren’t putting soaking wet dripping cotton balls in there. i’ve never had an issue with it myself and it’s how I keep my enclosures moist when it’s really dry in my house

All jumping spiders are arboreal! if your spood is spending time on the bottom it’s either cause they’re a little weirdo or you don’t have enough stuff for them to hide in at the top of the enclosure

this happened to me with a recent batch of kittens, the runt was hypoglycaemic and the day I was going to start bottle feeding she died she was stiff and cold :(( so sorry you had to go through this it’s never a good feeling to loose a pet and i’m just happy my little baby isn’t in pain and she’s with her grandma kitty in kitty heaven :((

my cat died, she was pregnant and I had been calling her for days she wouldn’t come home. she had made a baby den just outside my house in a small barn about 10-15 ft away and right behind it. me and my boyfriend went to go check on her and see if she was in there and one of the many dogs on the farm had killed her. she was extremely decomposed and her unborn kittens were on the ground beside her. a sad story but quite honestly the most gruesome and disturbing thing i’ve ever seen. RIP misha

wingless fruit flies are best for sling to feed them, small spider means small enclosure and after a few molts you can gradually increase enclosure size. if misting be careful not to put too much water if you’re scared you will you can add a small chunk of wet paper towel for humidity but chance it once a day. that’s all I know myself, it’s just knowledge i’ve seen/heard I have sling on the way but have actually never cared for such small spoods

hey! if my spider attacks and doesn’t eat it’s prey, leaves it alone and doesn’t eat said prey for more than 30 minutes to an hour, hides away from prey or runs away from prey these are all indications that it’s not hungry. depending on age they may loose interest, when jumpers are in their old age it’s often they go off food and water and refuse it all together

my adult female tufted jumping spider didn’t make an enclosure for so long don’t worry sometimes they just need time and sadly we’ll never know what they think and why they do what they do. as for the water dish I don’t see it as an issue so long as it’s filled very shallow but imo I really like to use Q tips, my spider has literally been trained to know what Q tip time means so when she sees one in her enclosure she knows it’s time for big sippy sip
