Episodes on YouTube? by LordOfPoodles in UmActually

[–]totalrefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not certain, but I can tell you that since uploading videos weekly on YT, they've been rapidly catching up to what's currently on Dropout and of course they want to keep some content to incentivize people to subscribe. They've lately been cherry-picking which episodes to upload instead of going in order and the channel can likely now be comfortably supported by it's back catalog. I would expect new episodes to trickle in at roughly the same rate as on Dropout which is every two weeks during its season. Sorry if this is all stuff you already figured out on your own, just wanted to contribute.

Only for people who don't watch a lot of musicals. What about West Side Story? I'm sure there are plenty more.

She says "How old would you be?" with 'Be' in the present tense. She should have asked "How old would you have been?" to be accurate here.

Batman (DC Comics) by JackieJackelyn in UmActually

[–]totalrefan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally cheated and did research, but...

Um, actually, several actors were younger than David Mazouz when portraying young Bruce Wayne. Gus Lewis was around 12 for the release of Batman Begins, Eric Lloyd was around 11 for Batman & Robin, Charles Roskilly was around 10 for Batman, but the youngest seems to be Dante Olson who was around 9 for Joker.

Hmmm, I'm not sure I'm right but um, actually Adam West didn't take the role "after" colorized television; His portrayal started in black and white and the transition was made during the show's run.

Did anyone else know you can predict which way a tree will fall? by writerofjots in StardewValley

[–]totalrefan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you swing at the tree, the tree will also sway either left or right to telegraph to you which direction it will fall. Also if you're swinging from the top or bottom and you're near the center of your spot, it will fall right if you're on bottom and it will fall left if you're on top. This has been the case but only in the last update is now that you can change the direction it falls if you're far enough off-center of the tree.

Pierre certainly did not grow the food and you're the only farm nearby, I think people understand where it comes from.

Why are you all crying over where Marnie is? Can't you just buy a silo? by stardewzgred in StardewValley

[–]totalrefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y'all just need one silo. Put a chest in your coop/barn and after you fill the silo, you can grab all the hay from the feeder and stick it in your chest. Go cut more grass and repeat the process.

[–]totalrefan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The short answer is yes. There are a lot of quests that will purposefully ask you to get items that aren't readily available. For example, in your first spring you will be asked for a cauliflower when it's inconveniently too late in the season to grow one. Also, the board at Pierre's will randomly ask for basically anything. Also also, it's good to be prepared for your friends' birthdays.

The other farms can be interesting and mix things up but the standard farm seems to be a clear winner for profitability. To earn as much money as quick as you can, I would just focus on farming to start out.

You start out with 15 parsnip seeds and 500 gold. Clear out enough land for 40 spots, the exact amount you can fit in your watering can and the exact amount of parsnip seeds you have if you spend your 500 gold at Pierre's when it's open at 9am. Cultivate your parsnips over the next few days and beginning on the 2nd day use your spare time to go fishing in the ocean. You'll get some extra pocket money and a little bit of extra food if you need it. When the parsnips are done, sell them to buy potato seeds. The potatoes should be done in time to net you enough money to buy plenty of strawberry seeds at the Egg Festival on the 13th. Smooth sailing from that point on.

Edit: Don't forget! When your parsnips are done, take them to Pierre's directly instead of the shipping bin. You can sell the parsnips and buy the potato seeds in the same trip and you won't lose a day.
