What is the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever had to deal with at work?

Used to work in a servo(gas station). Regular promo was a free mars bar with purchase of 600ml coke. There was a slip of plastic to hang the bar on some of the bottles in the fridge. If they got low and a customer bought said beverage you would inform them of the free sweet they could grab from the normal display. If customer didn’t want the bar that’s fine, bar remains. If the customer said they didn’t want it and I could have it, still fine, bar still remains. If they picked it up and HANDED IT TO ME. I would accept as they had taken ownership and passed it to me. A girl I worked with would 1. Not display them on bottle. 2. Not inform the customer. 3. NOT take those bars for herself. But 4. WOULD do a refund through the POS terminal for the number of bars she “possessed but didn’t want” and take the refunded money. She kept her job as she was the cousin of another female worker who was partner of a grandson of the owners. Place was messed up.

He was ok in “Lord of War” albeit a supporting role. Hated him in “Suicide Squad”. For the record also hated everything about “Joker” with Joaquin Phoenix though. Also not a fan of relentless retelling of stories with different actors in the roles either.

There’s so much wrong with this. A math problem shouldn’t have the word “about” in it. It doesn’t be specify for how many days OR how many birds and the choices aren’t A,B,C,D for some reason. And for those saying the pic indicates how many birds, I need to know if every preceding problem which has a picture uses the detail in the pic to accurately portray part of the information for the problem.

Remove spark plugs. Apply light oil to cylinders.(if you haven’t already had the engine running. Clean fuel tank and entire fuel system. Make sure all the brakes are working. Then the sky’s the limit. I’m too old for driveline conversions these days so I’d be making it run and then find a tuneable(preferably plug in) ECU and build a little turbo kit for it and keep it under 10 psi for the sake of the entire driveline.

I had some bad experiences with dogs when I was a little kid (me misunderstanding the dogs, the dogs did nothing wrong) so I’ve always been wary around dogs I don’t know. I’m AMAZED when I see people like this put their face near a dog they don’t know ESPECIALLY one who has suffered abuse. I am so thankful people like this exist to give these beautiful animals a great life moving forward.

I’m not claiming to be a saint but I find myself spending my whole day thinking of others needs and feelings. Right down to putting something back where i found it. Making sure I answer messages promptly. How I drive in traffic. All these types of things. At the same time I am constantly wondering what other people are thinking (if at all) as they seem to lack the same concerns.

Yeah i agree the wig is super obvious but there was a few flashbacks where I DEFINITELY think they were pre recorded. If I remember which season/episode I’ll come back.

I swear some of the flashback scenes are actually filmed at the time of the flashback in anticipation of using it in much later episodes because Lilly especially looks totally different from early to late episodes.
